My friend Sully de Fontaine, OSS and Special Forces legend
Dr. Dean Judd
It is with great sadness that I now publicly identify one of my most trusted confidants who has remained behind the scenes for many years. Dean served as the nation as Chief Scientist of SDI (Star Wars), the National Intelligence Officer for Science and Technology, USAF Science Board member, and was a Senior Fellow at Los Alamos. He was intimately familiar with America's space architecture and provide me with sage advice on the topic. We served on science boards together and often discussed world affairs at considerable lengths. Dean unexpectedly died on 20 July 2010 and we will miss his wisdom and countenance.

With Dr. Edward Teller at 1st Non-Lethal Defense Conference held at Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Lab 1993
This monograph takes the controversial position that the nature of war has changed at a most fundamental level - that of definition. Americans no longer understand the meaning of war, when compared against WWII. It argues the following:
- The nation-state is a failing concept
- Boundaries are really arbitrary
- Idealogy, not materialism, motivates people
- Personal allegiances are no longer assured
- Violence, while prevalent in future conflicts, may be optional
Commander, A-421, 5th SFGA, Ba Xaoi, Vietnam (Seven Mountains) 1968
This monograph addresses issues that are generally forgotten regarding the areas of Central and South America, including the Caribbean. Most controversially it suggests it is American drug polices that have destablized countries, regions, and possibly the hemisphere. Intelligence Scotomas can be accessed here.
